Juan AlzateĀ“s music is a very personal vision of jazz. In addition to the influences of the great masters of this genere, there are also mexican and latin american influences and obviously personal experiences. Juan Alzate is mexican and has had as teachers such important musicians as David Liebman, Jerry Bergonzi, Greg Osby, among others, he has become one of the most important saxophonists in Mexico and Latin America, both as performer and as professor at different universities.He has organized two international jazz saxophone meetings. Shared the stage with Mark Levine, Antonio Sanchez, Helen Sung, Luis Perdomo, Helen Sung, Bruce Forman John Benitez, Bobby Watson, Cesar Lopez, among others as well as soloist with different symphony orchestras in Mexico,
